Monday Blues SINKING!

monday blues struck again. but not much this time. as exams draw nearer, blues get lesser ironically. even more ironic, the weather's become colder than usual. the weekends reminded me of my time in the early winter days of delhi! it was that cold! It felt refreshing yet it was chilly.

in such times, you just wish you had sinful indulglence on hot chocolate or creamy mushroom/tomato soup.something warm to keep you alive inside! and of course, music to warm your body, mind and soul.

so today's song of the day is gonna be on that note!

it;s very soft. i love the guitars. check it out, and enjoy!

artiste: eric clapton

song: Tears In Heaven

Lyrics:

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
cause I know I dont belong here in heaven...

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?
Ill find my way through night and day
cause I know I just cant stay here in heaven...

Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees
Time can break your heart, have you begging please...begging please

Beyond the door theres peace Im sure
And I know therell be no more tears in heaven...

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
cause I know I dont belong here in heaven...

**just some BACKGROUND INFO**

this song was written by a father for his son who had died. the son was just 4 years old.he had fallen off from his mother's friend's new york condominum window. and the tremendous amount of pain Eric Clapton felt was truly beyond words. So for him to write this song was the toughest job. Yet, with the support of his friend-Will Jennings, he did. and this song soared the charts when it was first released! It's really touching and painful if you read more about this gentleman. Truly tragic. which makes you admire him even more.

that's all for today folks!

love,
