MY KNEE PROBLEM.

I saw the doctor with my reports.
Yes,x-rays and MRIs and everything else.

A lot of hysterical events happened at the hospital. My dearest ones already know it by now cos' I've spoken to you about it. All I wanna say is that, doctors can make good cartoons too. And trust me, asking the obvious makes them only sound more dumb. You actually start to wonder if they're genuinely qualified doctors or if they're imported from Planet Mars.

What they concluded is that I've got an extra tiny bone and extra soft tissues at my knee joint which is causing the pain as I walk.

And YOU people, have no idea how difficult it is and really, I wouldn't want anyone to ever go through what I'm going through. The pain is from my knee, all the way up till my lower back. It's a sharp pain. And it already hurts when I am still. Imagine the pain I've to go through when I walk. And when I bend it, It's beyond imagination. Not even for my worst enemy, would I ever wish this.

The SOLUTION SUGGESTED by the doc and his intern[who seemed much more sane] was for me to go through an operation to get these extra things at my joint removed.

Most probably, I will be going through this operation. However, I am taking 2nd opinions from a lot more doctors.

Cos' as much as I'd love to believe this doc, he didn't exactly sound convincing.

He is the same dude who initially told me that "actually, nothing seems wrong.." . Ask me personally to know the whole story. It was frustrating and shocking at that point of time, but yeah, it makes a good laugh now. I've been entertaining a few of my friends with it and they know how much stupid the doc sounded[*hint to some* :are these exams impt?]...not to forget the nurse too[ *hint to some* : HIV! H-I-V!!! like wtfwtfwtf. it's H-I-V!!!].

But today or tomorrow or whenever, I will have to go through it. The sooner, the better.

Cos I'm tired.

It's a miracle already that I haven't given up yet.

But honestly, as much as I'm trying to fight, I have a strong urge to just give it up.
Today morning, at 4 am, I woke up feeling suffocated. Turns out that I had fever and flu. I'm still unwell. Like as if the fact that I'm unable to walk wasn't enough, I had to get such viral attacks!
Panadol doesn't do me much wonders either..so yeah, I've to turn to other alternatives. Talk about luck.

But,

I'm much calmer now sweethearts. Cos' the tolerance towards the pain has increased. I'm still quite sarcastic though! [just can't help it. When I get typical questions like "how are you?" , i just can't help but reply "oh I'm fantastic, just getting ready for my next marathon!"] So just don't mind yeah? I may not entertain everyone's jokes. But yeah, good news is that I've begun to entertain more and more people.

2more days to Promos,
health isn't getting any better,
revision needs to keep going.
I've no choice but to keep going.
I'm not giving up.

Love,
insaneintelligence.(:

Gosh! I have a mixed reaction to your write up... a) I feel realllly bad for the pain that u may be going thru.. I know my mom had a similar issue, but that was with her elbow! b) Doctors in Singapore are a seriously 'funny' bunch.. sometimes you feel that watever they're sayin has got more to do with convincing 'themselves' then convincing the patient! :P - Good luck with your surgery though! Hope you recover soon :)

erm,, docs sees a lot of patients really. And its best to hear it straight from the patient what the actual proceedings been like. and well, thus both the doc and the patient is put through this predicament. just bear with it ey! hope the op is gg to be done, without much complications. anyway GL for the promos as well.

Cheers
